Commonwealth Terrace Cooperative
We are fortunate to serve the vibrant Commonwealth Terrace Cooperative on the St. Paul campus. Many of our families reside here in CTC, and the sense of community support is strong within and between the two cooperatives. The two cooperatives co-sponsor events throughout the year. The University of Minnesota is looking ahead to the future of the St. Paul campus with the St. Paul Strategic Facilities Plan. Changes and redevelopment will impact both CCCC and CTC, so our organizations are building visibility and advocacy efforts to stay engaged in the process and share our insights gained by years of dedicated service to students. University of Minnesota
Community Child Care Center has served families at the University of Minnesota for decades. Our student group includes parents, staff members, and volunteers who are all studying at the University, bringing one more element of diversity to this campus. All University students are welcome to join our group for fun and educational events that meet the needs of a variety of students.
In 2018, the Provost's Child Care Advisory Committee for the Twin Cities campus collected information from University students, staff, faculty, and child care providers in order to make recommendations on how best to meet child care needs on campus. CCCC shared enrollment data and student-centered policies in hopes of increased support for student parents in the future.
