Younger Preschool Teachers
I first started at CCCC in the beginning of 2022 as a CCW. I worked while finishing my bachelors of developmental psychology at the University of Minnesota and graduated that summer. I eventually trained in the toddler and younger preschool classrooms and became an assistant teacher between all three rooms in the fall of 2022. I was so excited to become a lead younger preschool teacher in the beginning of 2023. I am very passionate about the importance of the early childhood years as well as the value of families in the development of young children especially. I enjoy working with younger preschoolers because there is rarely a moment where we are not busy and I appreciate the stage of development that three-year-olds are in. I feel so lucky to teach younger preschoolers and I look forward to playing, learning, and growing together!
I started working here in September 2017 as a CCW, and I was excited to become a full time Assistant Teacher Float, a Lead Older Preschool Teacher, and now a Lead Younger Preschool Teacher! I received a Bachelor's Degree in English from Hamline University. I first learned that I love teaching through teaching computer skills to adult English Language Learners, and I quickly learned how much I love young children when I came to CCCC. I'm passionate about the importance of play, as well as learning languages, taking care of plants, and playing and listening to music. I am so excited to get to know families and have lots of fun playing with each of the preschoolers!
