Community Child Care Center Mission

Community Child Care Center's mission is to contribute to the broader community, individual children, and families by encouraging the development of the whole child through affordable, high-quality early childhood education. The center provides a nurturing, physically safe, emotionally secure and inclusive setting for children, families and staff in a cooperative environment. Community Child Care Center provides services for; Commonwealth Terrace Cooperative (CTC) families, University of Minnesota students, faculty, and staff, and families of the surrounding communities.

Co-operative are based on the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity. In the tradition of their founders, co-operative members believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others.
